Meet the photographer

I grew up in mainly in the Piney Woods of East Texas with short stints in Oregon and Tennessee. Being outdoors was simply a way of life for me. It wasn't until 2020 that my love of nature and photography came together. I became a birder! I specialized in smartphone photography for a couple years, but the itch to photograph at the highest level quickly became an obsession. A few hundred thousand frames later here I am. I only shoot with Sony products and I'm planning a huge global project of trying to photograph every Owl species in the world in one calendar year. Cheers!
